Airstream Kitchen Essential Checklist

Are you planning on starting a food trailer business? Well, that means you’ll be cooking there and doing everything that goes with it. For everything to run smoothly, you need a full kitchen. Here is your airstream kitchen checklist that should guide you on the journey.

Airstream Refrigerator

Since you’ll always be on the move with no time to make stopovers for groceries, your airstream food trailer must have a refrigerator. A refrigerator will help keep all the food supplies in your kitchen without the risk of anything getting spoilt.  It also helps to keep your ingredients fresh for use during the day.

Airstream Stove & Oven

The food trailer business requires you to come up with dishes that will satisfy your customers. This is only possible if you have a stove and oven in place. It’s important to have other cooking appliances, but these two are essentials.

Airstream Sink

The life of a traveling restaurateur is not easy. This is why it’s important to get your hands on all the necessary appliances that will be useful during your travels.

One such appliance is the sink that you can attach to your kitchen countertop. It comes in handy when washing dishes and preparing food items that you’ll use to serve your customers.

Plates, Bowls, and Drinking Glasses

What will you use to serve food and drinks if you don’t have plates, bowls, and glasses on board? You must remember to keep these kitchen essentials in handy so that you can serve your food and drinks to customers.

Cutlery

When eating your own food, you’ll need something to use, so make sure that you purchase enough cutlery for everyone on board. You should also get some extra cutlery in case another airstream calls upon you for assistance.

Having an extra set of utensils comes in handy when you need to provide food for the people who are late to join the rest of the crew during meal times.

Kitchen Supply

You need to keep waste in your RV at a minimum always. You also need to tidy up the space often, so you don’t invite germs to your food preparation area.

Kitchen supplies such as napkins and paper towels are a must-have. You should also remember to carry garbage bags, foil, plastic wraps, and cleaning liquids.

Food and Cooking Supplies

Fill a good number of your cupboards with food supplies, such as canned goods, rice, dry pasta, vegetables, nuts, and coffee. Just make sure they don’t get spoiled before you can use them.

You can store your food in containers that protect them from rodents, insects, and other pests. You should also avoid storing their food in an RV’s basement if there is one – they’re not good places to store foods because of the dampness.

Reusable Water Bottles

Water is a very important commodity in the kitchen, and you need to make sure that you have an adequate supply, either in bottles or by boiling tap water.

Reusable water bottles will come in handy to ensure that you always have enough water for cooking. You should purchase some 1 Gallon containers or larger ones to store your clean drinking water.
